HORSERADISH

SAUCE FOR

PRIME RIB

Source (if known): Internet You Tube Video
My notes: Made 1/6/2011, was pretty good

After seeing a video on you tube, I decided to make this:

Use a large spoon, about tablespoon size (I doubled this recipe and it was just enough for two people if you like it on top of your prime rib)

1 heaping spoon prepared horseradish, wash the spoon

1 heaping spoon sour cream, wash the spoon

1 heaping spoon of mayonaise, wash the spoon

add a little Worcestire sauce, don't put over half a spoon until you taste it..

Stir and taste test... maybe add a squirt of lemon juice

Put in frig till ready to use and put on top of a delicous prime rib

While I am at it, I made my prime rib with above by:

Wash and pat dry the prime rib, then baste it with melted butter.
Use coarse kosher salt and sprinkle it all over the meat
Preheat over to 450 degrees, put in over, fat side up, and cook for 10 minutes.
Reduce oven to 325, put thermometer in (not instant type), and cook till 130 for rare. However, it said was done but it was still pretty rare.
20 minutes per pound is what most recipes say, but I did about 25.
