MANDARIN

CHICKEN

SALAD

My notes: One of Mary Ann's (my wife) recipes
Dressing:
6 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup oil
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup red wine vinegar

 
Salad:
1 head lettuce
1/2 bunch green onions, chives or sweet onion
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1 small can chow mein noodles
2 cans mandarin oranges, well drained (no juice)
1/2 cup sliced almonds
2 pounds chicken breast, cooked & cut into 1/2 strips
 
Combine all, top with chow mein noodles and dressing (do not add all at once, so it doesn't get too wet) just before serving
