Who Am I?

I retired in 1995 from my law enforcement job and need to find a new hobby. Cooking was my call!

Before moving from South Florida, my wife Mary Ann and I, joined a Epicurean cooking club. The club consisted of about 24 people and each month we would cook a full course meal at one or two houses. Four couples would be at each house and one couple would do the appetizer, one the main course, one the side and one the desert. How that was all organized is a long story. But I learned a lot.

Then my son married a wonderful gal in Italy, Cinzia Cantatore, and my wife and I have made several trips over to Italy. While there we have enjoyed their family cooking as well as taking a cooking class in Montacatini, north of Florence.

I have also taken several local cooking classes and some while traveling in the U. S.
I have not attended any culinary cooking schools, per se, and am mostly self taught. If Giada De Laurentiis from the Food Network can do it, so can I.

I enjoy cooking at least 4 days a week and trying new recipes. I don't always go exactly as they say and that's the fun of cooking. Making it your style.

So, here's some of my favorite recipes I have tried as well as family and friends to share with you.
